The Fraternity just celebrated its 10th Anniversary of its rechartering over the weekend. The chapter was dissolved in the mid 1990's and was recolonized in 1999. But it was in Spring 2001 that the chapter was officially rechartered.

Also in the summer of 2008 the national fraternity celebrated its 150th Anniversary at the national convention, Karnea. The Fraternity was officially started in 1858, at Bethany College in response to another group of student organization rigging events so that only its members could win.

Campus Philanthrophy

Besides the many philanthropies the fraternity participates in, the chapter is also involved in many on campus communitiy events as well. This year, we are participating in Chi Omega's War ofthe Wings, ATO's Tennis Tournament, DZ's Turtle Tug, and Kappa Sigma's Bowling Tourmanent. Our chapter was recognized this year as having more philanthropy hours and raising more money than any fraternity on campus. Also, brother Jake McMillin, is participating with Big
Brothers/Big Sisters of Columbia to mentor an underpriviliged youth.
