The Fraternity just celebrated its 10th Anniversary of its rechartering over the weekend. The chapter was dissolved in the mid 1990's and was recolonized in 1999. But it was in Spring 2001 that the chapter was officially rechartered.
Also in the summer of 2008 the national fraternity celebrated its 150th Anniversary at the national convention, Karnea. The Fraternity was officially started in 1858, at Bethany College in response to another group of student organization rigging events so that only its members could win.
Welcome to the site for the Theta Eta Chapter of Delta Tau Delta at the University of South Carolina. This chapter is made up of a diverse selection of individuals that each bring a unique talent and ability to stregthen the fraternity. The chapter has just celebrated its 10th Anniversary of its rechartering from the national fraternity.
